A tree, just a tree

This solitary, noble tree in the Hartley Valley reminded me of the lines:
'I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as as a tree'...
by Joyce Kilmer in the 19th century. The rest of the poem I find too romantic now, but when I reflect on this tree and so many other trees that have graced my life, I know why these lines have remained in my memory. No doubt many other blippers too can recall trees that meant a lot to them....it's an interesting theme for times when the mind isn't frantically buzzing about or needs some entertainment.
