Mind if I join you?

Drove to Broughty Ferry today for lunch and a stroll with a friend. What a beautiful day we chose:) I had only taken my compact camera and had real difficulty seeing what I was shooting because of the bright sunshine (I'm not complaining though!)

Chose this one because this gull was sitting all alone on the back of the seat, while about 50 others were sitting on the wall and railings behind him! Had he been "sent to Coventry"? Eventually the other one approached, as if to say "mind if I join you?" and hopped up beside him:)
