Bird Girl...Savannah, Georgia

This sculpture is a take-off on the 'Bird Girl' statue depicted on the cover of John Berendt's novel, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Fletcher and I spent a couple of hours this morning at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. His full attention was focused on that little 'CharlieBear' treat balancing on the lip of the bowl above his nose.
