Things To Make And Do

A bit of sunshine this afternoon and not at work today so it was time for the first allotment session of 2021, to prune the autumn fruiting raspberries.  This is surely the easiest pruning job of the year as they fruit on first year growth so there's no worrying you've cut the wrong bit off, it's just chop, mulch, job done.  Idiot proof, barring a freak accident of slipping on a slug and impaling yourself on your own secateurs.

Anyway as I totally failed to get a decent shot of raspberry pruning or indeed the plot as a whole to be able to show you what it looks like, here's a little visitor I spotted sitting amongst the brassica nets.
