CannyScot's Day

The Mill where Mary Slessor worked

A beautiful sunny day

We had to take the car into our Garage very early for an MOT. While that was happening, we went for a walk along the waterfront and into the City Centre. The sun was really bright and the sky was really cloudless and blue. One of the photos I took was this old Jute Mill where the Scottish Missionary worked in her early years. It has now been refurbished and is now the Indigo Hotel.

The City Centre was very quiet as most places were closed. We did managed to get a Takeaway drink to warm us up, though even that may not be possible soon.

Fortunately, the Car passed the MOT, which we appreciated because it is now 10 years old.

After Lunch, I caught up with some videos from a Leaders Conference I have been watching online. I would never have been able to attend the Conference otherwise, which is one of the benefits of Lockdown.

In the evening we have our Zoom Prayer Meeting, which helps us keep in touch with the Fellowship.

If you would like to see more of our walk round the City, which really shows off good the area is, you can find my Google Photo Album here:
