Martin Walker 26/05/1968 - 26/12/2020

Sad day today, it was Martin's funeral. Not a great start to the day either because as was heading in to work I saw a message pop up saying that due to a COVID case Natr couldn't go into school. Emergency phonecall to James who had pre-empted why I was calling and he instantly offered to home school Nate for us. Such a life saver and so grateful to have a friend like that. I got to work and helped Mike do a port and a vascath and then left him to finish the list while heading over to Caths where we went with Roman and Becca to Albert Pratts funeral home for some time in thr Chapel of rest with Martin. Was very peaceful and Roman said a few words before we all said a few happy thoughts about Martin and what he meant to us all. We placed some white roses onto his coffin and then did the hardest thing ever and said our final goodbyes to such a lovely man that we had all valued and appreciated for the last 10years. He loved his adopted home of Yorkshire and was proud to be a part of all our families and we couldn't have asked for a nicer person to help guide and support us all and give us many many laughs. The picture above is the last picture he took of himself stood in his superman pants we bought him for Christmas doing his usual silly pose. Rest in peace Tinny, we will all miss you greatly.
