Arlo

As I hinted at yesterday, we got a puppy yesterday (not just for lockdown), just wasn't definite on his name. After going through loads that the 3 of us  couldn't agree on, Mrs C came up with Arlo, Ms H agreed, and I took 24 hours to rubber stamp it! I had never heard of it before, meaning I had never heard of Woody Guthrie's son or watched The Good Dinosaur, tut-tut, how uncool am I?

We've been looking for a few months, decided for deffo before Christmas, but this lockdown meant we couldn't travel out of the county to see pups and possibly not even pick up, without breaking the law. So Mrs C contacted someone a mile away who bred some the border collies on the farm we live around and low and behold, four 10 week old boys to choose from. We had an outside visit yesterday and made the call, eeek!

We know it will be hard work and our life will change, understatement or what! He should be young enough to get used to our two cats, and there's been positive signs with one of them already, at least, fingers crossed.
