Winter wonderland

As I walked to the dentist this morning I was nearly late as I kept stopping to photograph car roofs in the morning sunshine.

The Jack Frost had created some wonderful patterns and, as in the main blip, had a 3D effect.

On our own car windscreen it had formed amazing patterns like a William Morris design. Why some areas are just frosted and others so detailed I do not know. Also some intricate feathering. See extras.
