Lockdown #3 - day seven.

The footbridge over the River Granta at the Horn Lane ford.

A favourite place for the children to feed ducks and any thing else that happens along... can you spot it?

At about 1pm the whole village was rocked by a sonic boom. An RAF Typhoon had been cleared to exceed the sound barrier as it sped off to intercept an unresponsive aircraft. Happily the incident ended safely.

Had quite a long walk around the village and this afternoon I took Margaret to Addenbrookes Hospital for her routine eye appointment. The A & E looked to be very busy with several ambulances arriving in the short time we were there.
