Favourite

This is my favourite mug. It was a souvenir from an outing to Greys Court a couple of years ago. This is a beautiful small house near Henley and it has a lovely atmosphere and it’s good to have a memory of it. I always enjoyed our WI outings and it is so sad that we are not going anywhere at the moment. I miss them.
We had our vaccine letter today, such excitement! We duly made our phone call, and didn’t have to wait for long to get through. We gave all our details and were offered an appointment at The Excel Centre, in East London! “It’s only 25 miles!” she said, not realising that those 25 miles would be from one side of London to the other. I asked about our nearest centre at Epsom Racecourse, about five miles away, and she said it was fully booked. She suggested we try again in a few days time. We might try again this evening.
