Male Bullfinch

I was really pleased to have a pair of bullfinches in the garden this morning.  The female was in the hedge but themale was eating the seeds from the honesty plant.  I'm not very tall and the bullfinch was in a very awkward position so I had to climb on the draining board to get a photo.  I must have been wobbling the camera as it's not very sharp and sadly it has a twig in front but I still wanted to blip it as a record.  Hopefully they will return and I'll have chance to  get a better shot.

It's been a wet and miserable day but I had a walk from home so at least had some exercise.
