Day 297 I'm cold!

Peggy Sue wasn't alone in feeling chilly today.  On Saturday we noted that a couple of pipes in the airing cupboard were leaking  and to the point where water was beginning to come through the kitchen ceiling.  Fortunately our lovely plumbing and heating engineer was happy to pop round straight away to assess the problem and today was the day that he came to fix it.  Unfortunately to reach the pipes the hot water storage tank had to be removed and we took the opportunity to replace it and even clean the cupboard.  All this meant that the heating was off all day.  I spent much of it huddled under my new heated fleecy throw in front of one of our gas coal fires.  Peggy Sue was forced to take to her cosy bed which is currently in front of that fire and I think that her expression says it all!
