Bread?

I continued with my baking quest by trying white bread with the fresh yeast I got from the supermarket the other day. The kneading and proving seemed to go well but it all went a bit awry after it proved for a second time and looked a little sunken as it went into the oven. The picture above was the result. I susie t proving it on the hot radiator may not have been the wisest decision. I think it will toast ok but will see tomorrow.

The rest of the day was taken up with dog walking, dog bathing (as he was very very muddy after his walks), and doing more of my crochet.

We had a lovely chat with our son and his girlfriend after a homemade curry followed by chocolate and tahini pudding dinner.
