Lake Mapourika

Not a bad camping spot!  I stopped here for lunch and it was so lovely that I decided to stay.  This is my view from the front of the van.

The extra is of the cliff face right behind my van.  Fantastic vertical cliff - it is amazing how the ferns hold.

Azzy and I had a lovely bush walk today.  I took my camera and big lens along hoping for native birds.  We heard heaps and saw a few but walking with a dog isn't the ideal way to photograph them.  I might go back tomorrow without her.

Yet again I've back blipped yesterday's photo of Fox Glacier and Mount Cook as I had no range where I was camping last night.  It is pretty minimal here too so I'll actually be lucky if these photos load!
