snowdrops

A miracle! Today there has been no rain!! I'm sure the respite is only brief but it was very welcome!

So I managed to break free of the house this morning and get out for a little local walk to try and wear in my new walking boots! My feet are still recovering! They're more 'substantial' than the old boots I used to wear so it took a while for my feet and ankles to settle in, but I got home with no blisters so that's a bonus!

I was only out for an hour so ended up at the creek and the local church! Spotted the egrets again with a few robins and then was happy to spot these snowdrops by the church entrance - a welcome sight!
