Lockdown #3 - day ten.

Little Linton footbridge and path.

I got my wellies out to have a look at the old mill site as part of todays walk. Very muddy after the rain yesterday and I guess going to get muddier as more rain and perhaps snow expected tomorrow.

This little footbridge spans what was once the mill lade that diverted water from the River Granta to power the water mill.  The mill has long since gone with few traces visible under the tangled undergrowth. The lade has silted up but heavy rain fills it.

Went to Sainsbury's quite early for the weekly shop, quite noticeable gaps on the shelves whether that is caused by supply difficulties due to Covid-19 problems or other difficulties due to Brexit issues I couldn't say...
