Goosed

I woke up feeling awful this morning.  Lasted 5 minutes before I went back to bed.  2 hours later, Take 2, and I managed a cup of tea and some toast.  And then I went back to bed again. When I woke up for the third time, I felt a little better.

Haven't left the house all day and do not plan on going out tonight.

I did manage to empty the dishwasher though, where I found this mug.  I think my use of the word "goosed"  is very Scottish.  Not in my Chambers at any rate.  When something doesn't work any more - like a car, computer, or such - you can say "it's goosed".  Similarly you can apply it to a person who isn't feeling well.  And I am definitely goosed today.
