The Lifeboat

On holiday for a few days this week but got a call on Wednesday to say the local GP surgery had a spare Covid vaccination and offered it to me. Nipped over to SQF for my 230 pm appointment then headed down to the Hawes pier to catch the brave souls of the lifeboat crew coming back from a shout. A lot of their call outs are to rescue people trapped on Cramond Island. Why they need to rescue people as the tides are all published on the causeway but I guess people just can't be bothered to read them. Don't know what was going on today
