Smoke on the Horizon

We both got out for exercise walks today, although at different times. As I lapped the sports field down the road, I could see what looked like smoke rising in the rather hazy distance. I'm still not sure exactly what it was but I did love the layers that made up the scene and converting to black and white made them even clearer. As I walked back home, the Red Kites were circling and I managed to catch the pair in the extra as they flew directly overhead.
