Sparkly Sheep

Plenty of snow around after yesterday's continuous onslaught and continuing freezing conditions. There was no wind and the sun was shining so I decided a walk was in order. I donned my Yaktrax and off I went. It was difficult underfoot - mainly because of human intervention - cars and snow clearers, but actually easier on the untreated lanes and farm tracks. Strangely there was some cloud in the Don Valley below me, which can just be seen at the top of the photo. The snow had a layer of sparkly frost on top, which made it look very pretty. I thought these snow-covered blocks from a dilapidated drystone wall looked a bit like sheep huddled together.
