Snow-capped Buddha

Buddha likes his new white cap.
It gives him quite a glow.
It keeps his head as warm as toast
although it's made of snow.

Buddha is a happy chap
as, in his beau chapeau,
he meditates in lavender
on wintertime and snow.

Buddha knows the spring will come,
when snow and ice will melt,
but still he will remember how
a snowy titfer felt.

Took this photo this morning. By early afternoon, Buddha's cap had melted. Nothing spring-like about the day, though!

Little Miss B's snowman is still standing. This morning she waved to him from the bedroom window, and this afternoon she blew him a kiss from a downstairs window. Outside, she gave him lots of pats on the head, where his hat still sits very firmly frozen in place.

Thank you so much for all the lerve you gave my yesterblip. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the series of pics as much as I enjoyed the event. Such special times that I'm so lucky to be sharing, especially in the midst of so much wider woe.
