A Night Out.

Alexandra phoned me at about 2.30, and asked if I'd like to go to the Jurassic Creatures exhibit at Robina.  She'd won tickets.  Peter didn't want to go as he'd had a really early start at work.

I had intended taking the girls one day, but the tickets were really expensive.  So getting free ones was a bonus!

After she phoned we had a nasty storm at about 4pm.  But by the time we left at 5.45 it had cleared up.

Although the sky looked threatening, the rain stayed away whilst we were there.

The girls had a good time.  There were 3 different kinds of jumping castle, and they went on all of them.  A massive ball pit.

They went on 2 rides.  Smashed a fossil egg to get a tiny plastic dinosaur.  And also got a free wooden 3D dinosaur puzzle.

They weren't that keen on the dinosaur characters, which was strange as they've seen loads of these kind of characters before.

But they were frightened by a very life like Velociraptor.  Even though we told them it was just someone dressed in a costume.

We managed to persuade Isabella to go back and get a photo with the characters.  But Mia wasn't having any of it.

We stayed for just over an hour.  And the girls enjoyed it.

But I'm glad it was free, as I really didn't think it was worth the money.
