1956 Continental

While out today we saw the most beautiful antique car on the road. The man pulled into a pet grooming shop so we pulled into the shop behind him. This place is known to be an investment of Kelly Preston (John Travolta's wife) and their daughter Ella. See the local story here.

The man driving the car entered the shop and I wondered if it was John himself. I took lots of photos and the man came out to leave. Needless to say it wasn't John but it sure looked like him. After some research on the internet, we feel assured that the man was John's brother, Joey. I spoke to him at length about the car and he told me that only 3,000 were made and only 1300 are still on the road. It was the most expensive car in the world back in 1956 with a price tag of $10,000 and they sell for $70,000 to $90,000 today. Amazing car.
