Domestic Goddess Day

... well ... without the cleaning the house bit.  Baking bread is such a good distraction and decided to branch out into marmalade chelsea buns.  They need some work but are quite moreish.

We bought a pass to Celtic Connections, have always wanted to go but for some reason haven't got there yet, maybe next year?  Watching the opening ceremony was really moving.  And I'm so full of respect for all the people who've made the festival happen.  I have last night's concerts playing in the background at the moment.  Have realised I need to be quite strategic in enjoying the pass as one of the dogs (Maddie) is terrified of pipe music, what a let down for a Scottish dog - she much prefers techno.
