Eternal Flame

Many moons ago* whilst biding in Embra, I used to pop across the road to the local Chinese restaurant, order a takeaway meal and enjoy a pint and read at my book whilst waiting.

One evening as I sat at the bar waiting, Eternal Flame by the Bangles wafted through the speakers.

"I like this one" said the young barman, "you like too?"

"Ehh....aye!" I replied.

He then proceeded to sing it to me from start to finish.

My duck chow mein seemed to take an awfy long time to arrive that night!
