A walk in the woods

Went  to the Waterman Conservation Center for a walk toady and found icy and snow covered trails. We avoided the gorge trail ( it was closed anyway) and took a circuitous route through the rest. The one and only bird seen was heard first. The pileated woodpecker was happily pecking apart this tree. The extra is a little fuzzy , but his tongue is out! 
The other extra is from our back yard and the local red belly.
