Birthday bullfinch

Today is my 50th birthday. It’s a little quieter than normal and I won’t be having the celebration I had planned but as I was having my normal breakfast of granola I spied in the corner of my something bright. Luckily I had my camera nearby and was able to snap this beautiful bird. I don’t see these very often so to see one today, on my birthday was a real treat.
