My Life in Pictures

Swans

Today's Covid Exercise Walk took me via Rutland Square (see Extra Photo) to Edinburgh Quay the terminus of the Union Canal where I observed a group of bronze swans sitting on the boardwalk designed by Glasgow sculptor Shona Kinloch and cast by Edinburgh company Powderhall Bronze.

Back home via Lothian Road wondering why there is so much traffic given we are supposed to be in lockdown.

Meanwhile at home now viewing scenes of Scottish fisheries lorries emblazoned with the words "Brexit Carnage" and "Incompetent Government Destroying Shellfish Industry" descending on Westminster. Apparently Brexit bureaucracy is costing the industry £1 million a day and lorry loads of rotting seafood destroyed. I look forward to seeing the lorry loads being dumped at the gates of Downing Street.
