Back in Time

Thanks to the (mainly Conservative Party) liars and traitors, and those who were duped by them into voting to leave the EU, we have in many respects been transported back in time 50 years. As a result of this historic disaster the A4 size letter I sent to Europe today had to be accompanied by a customs declaration.

A visit to a Post Office took me into the city for only the second time since March last year. Although it was only 9:00 am there was already a queue at the Post Office. Traditionally Post Offices must always have a queue. Perhaps it makes them feel loved.

The pavements were very treacherous at this relatively early hour, with many hidden slippery icy patches to make walking feel distinctly uncomfortable. I ventured into Union Street far enough to take a photograph of this building at the corner of St Nicholas Street and Union Street. The link is to a photograph of the same building taken around 1860.

The extra shows another historic moment in time, a deserted Bon Accord Centre. Boots Chemist maybe open as a door at the side allowed entrance. Others were obviously closed for the duration.
