Emerging

The wonderful 'Crocus Carpet' is emerging in our local Churchyard.  The Snowdrops are always first to appear and I was glad to see a few clumps of them on my walk - a short one, it's pretty nippy but dry and no wind yet - but there's another storm on its way I hear with lots of wind and rain.  The storm has  nearly the same name as Mr HB's Christian name - Christoph.  I always said Mr HB was full of wind .........  only joking!  BUT

On a serious note we've had very sad news this evening from a friend of one of Mr HB's fellow model flyers who is a firefighter with the Staffs Fire Service;  he texted to say that a colleague of his in the fire service  has just lost his life to Covid,  a fit young man in his 40's.  It has just been on our local news too.  

Even more worrying when it's so close to home.  Take good care everyone.
