Frosty Pants

For those who think it's always hot in Portugal, my trousers on the clothesline this morning, covered in frost. I've had cold feet all day, but wood burner lit now, and getting better.

The virus situation in Portugal worsens, and stricter measures are being implemented; there will be no more Sunday lunches for a while. One more died today in our Care Home, that makes ten now. She was the mother of our President, so the bells tolled for a long time. Her Dad died recently as well, she was already so upset... they say he died of a broken heart because his daughter could no longer visit him and he couldn't understand why.

Gratefuls:
- getting some tricky admin done, or at least, further along, and even establishing a friendly relationship with the person I was dealing with
- doing an online course on safeguarding we've been putting off for ages, quite heavy content, but useful
- delicious chicken korma lunch from leftovers, sat outside in the sun, warmer than inside and table indoors covered in papers
