Life after Burradoo, NSW

For the first time in a year we took ourselves on a day trip to Canberra today. We usually drive the nearly 200 km each way three or four times a year to go to exhibitions or visit some of the wonderful national buildings down there. For the past several months we haven't been allowed to cross the border into the Australian Capital Territory. Thankfully the border has been opened again.

Today was a Covid version of a day in Canberra. We took our own lunch and didn't go into any buildings. We did, however, have a lovely day enjoying being tourists in a very quiet Canberra.

The main photo is the top of the cascading water feature in front of the High Court of Australia, a wonderful building. The extra places the main photo in its context.
