Wanderings & Witterings

Eight

I believe in second chances and so this is the walk I should have done on Sunday. Drove over to Denny on Monday afternoon but, rather than walk down to and then across the river, I walked the old railway path (pictured) to Dunipace and back along the main road for a bit before joining the path that follows the River Carron back into the town centre.

It was an easy 'figure of eight' walk that lasted just under an hour and at 3.86km was around 9km shorter than Sunday's mud-fest. It was also on good, solid surfaces for most of its length.

PS Don't tell the Bute House Tsarina, but I combined my visit to Denny with a shopping trip to one of the local supermarkets.
