Pebble Hunting

I took the dogs to Auchmithie this morning as a change from the beach and the park. We got the whole place to ourselves. (Just as well, as a few of my photos were taken when I was prostrate in various soggy locations.)

The Puffins haven't returned to their nesting sites yet, it is still early for them and I check again mid to late March. A few gulls in the cliff nests but not so many that I couldn't close my eyes and listen to the tide sucking the water over the pebbles.

I've taken some pebbles back with me as I have a project in mind for them. (They will be released back into the wild at a later date.)
