We fade to grey

Sad times today. One of Mr. Beewatcher’s fellow volunteers at the Bluebell Railway died suddenly at the weekend, so he dropped a card of condolence through his letterbox this afternoon.
Choked up at the sight of his BR high-vis jacket draped over the driving seat of his car in the drive.
He’ll be missed.
