That old oak tree

I went out with my camera during lunch. The light was a complete mess. Flat, grey clouds over flat, almost-melting snow. Nothing had a shadow. No colours anywhere, save a light-brown shade of lightly sanded snow.

I tried shooting in colour, and it all came out black-and-white.

Luckily, whatever the conditions, that old oak tree over by the sports fields is a magnificent character.
