Slide copier attachment

That's the answer to the mystery in yesterday's blip.

I have tried some commercially available solutions before, and also tried shooting slides on a light table with a macro lens, but I was never quite satisfied with any of those. I had designed an attachment of my own years ago in my head, but didn't have the chance to make it real. Then the nephew #2 got a 3D printer and I asked him to do it.

I used a LED panel for lighting, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the evenness  until I found a mini softbox that had come with some flash. Attached it to the copier and the problem was solved. Getting the slide out of the slot is a bit tricky though.
