A fitful night of dreams for both Eve and Isaac. Eve woke up from a really vivid dream about her Grandma and was really upset when she remembered she’d died - I couldn’t believe the strength of her reaction and the loss. It was really sad to realise how much she remembers of Grandma - she was so young when we lost her. And then just as we’d descended into sleep Isaac was awake and absolutely convinced there was a snake in his bed. He wouldn’t accept it was a dream for aaaages. Even when we’d stripped his bed and shown him his snake free room from all angles. Bless him!

Dreams aside, it was a calm day and the children seemed really happy.

Gratefuls:

1. Roast chicken dinner;
2. A walk with an audio book;
3. Mini egg chocolate bar.
