San Juan de Amandi, west frontage

A late-romanesque church, from the 13th century, regarded as a jewel of the romanesque in Asturias. It is situated near the medieval (so-called ¨roman¨) river bridge south of Villaviciosa, which places it on one of the walking routes of the Camino de Santiago, departing from the coast at Villaviciosa to move southwest to Oviedo.
