Swaying in the rain

Another day of non stop rain. This poor tree feels like I did battling against the weather.

I made a positive decision today, in that I booked a trip to New York for next New Year, sailing back on the Queen Mary2 with our two friends from Brighton. I am someone that never books so far ahead, lastminute.com being my preferred mode. However, this pandemic has certainly taught me something about slowing down and taking each day as it comes. So, whilst not wishing away a whole year of my life, I will allow myself to dream from time to time.
