My baby Robin

I am reasonably sure my baby is a South Island Robin. Have done so much reading over last few days. Baby birds are so hard to identify when tiny. It is often their weight that identifies. I have several “ bird nerd” friends who have helped. I gave the baby a mirror so he now has “ a friend”. He spends a lot of time just chattering to his friend!!!
