Waves of Petals

I've come to dahlias late in life.
I've always associated them with old blokes with tape measures and forests of wooden supports, probably because we used to have an exhibition in our town.
There was much competition and secrecy, and rows of perfect blooms were displayed in vases.
I have a mass of dahlias that pop up each year and give me a lot of pleasure. Not perfect blooms, or large, but haphazard and wild.
And just orange.

Anyway, this is as close as I could get to the abstract theme of waves.
Thanks Ingeborg for your continuing hosting.
