Storm Christoph.

So the latest storm hits and we are very lucky not to be in a high risk area for flooding. The weather today has been disgustingly wet and very blowy. We are not really in the path of the worst of it and my heart goes out to those who are at risk of flooding and the families that will once again have to battle with home being flooded.  

I have never really followed American politics before but I did sit this afternoon and watch the Inauguration of Joe Biden. His speech was one to uplift the Nation and to heal the massive rifts of the past four years. I do hope that he will succeed. Whatever political side of the fence people are this great nation does need to unify and work together to keep stability in the rest of the world!  

Miss Tbay came for supper this evening which was lovely. Cat update , Lockie is still at the vets and no one has claimed him. They are quite concerned about his general health however, but we will know more next Monday when his week is up. Miss Tbay will probably take him back if all is well.
