A Very Wet Walk

This afternoon's walk with Pepper was circuitous route through farmland -normally pleasant and picturesque. I knew it would be very wet but still surprised to see the degree of wet. Flooded gateways and paths with the inevitable mud. I manage to negotiate most places, although it did mean ducking through a couple of hedgerows as the paths were too deep in water for my wellies.
Hard work but have some interesting reflections.

The gate in the centre of the blip I managed to negotiate by keeping to the edges. It was touch and go where the water spilled over the path but we survived!

An evening of judging ahead with some first class images. Scoring becomes tricky.
