A Ray of Sunshine

Just enough for a natural light photo outside in the cold frames.   Narcissus romieuxii, a nice pot full of uniform seedlings.    The low winter light levels and less than ideal site here mean many things are a bit drawn and prone to flop but these babies are still standing proud.

Another busy day.   Admin and housework this morning then a long shift at work this afternoon, painting the architrave round numerous doorways.   Lots more painting to do but it's my kind of job right now, not needing too much brain power and essentially finite.   Found out today that a neighbour, soon to retire, had an accident out on her bike ten days ago.  Concussion means she's off work for a while but thankfully home and recovering well.   A worthy recipient for some of Jamies' baking she asked what he'd like in return.   After a little thought and a little laughter we agreed that a meal in the garden in summer (restrictions permitting) would be nice.   Jamie and I certainly don't want everyone baking in return - we'd need to eat five meals a day!!!!
