Planting starts

Having taken 33 years to realise the risks of planting too narrow a variety of trees, the replanting aims for variety in the hope that some species at least, will avoid the waves of pathogens being imported to the UK from across the world.  This year we are planting small leaved lime and common alder.  Last year was hornbeam.
