In the photo is a detail of a monument for writer Kalle Päätalo (Kalle Päätalo was the most popular Finnish writer in the 20th century. His Iijoki series, comprising 26 novels, is one of the longest autobiographical works ever written)

The text on the monument is in English something like this:
If you are not trying, you won't achieve anything, but even if you are not very talented it is possible to go a long way - with resilience.

I think it quite nicely describes also my blipfoto journey.
