Hundertwasser Toilets in Kawakawa

I'm sure I have blipped these amazing public toilets before.
Hundertwasser was an Austrian visual artist and architect as well as an ecologist. He came to NZ in early 1970's where he bought land in the Bay of Islands. He designed the toilets which are now seen as a work of art and a tourist attraction. Recently a memorial park building was opened in Kawakawa to showcase his life and work. The building is constructed of layers of colored concrete and is a work of art in its own right.
Hundertwasser stood out as an opponent of a straight line.
