Beestate

Seeing that the EU ban on using pesticides harmful to bees has just been lifted in the UK for use on the growing of Sugar Beet, inspired me to take this on todays dog walk.

Added irony given the negative impact of refined sugar to humankind in the main; there is also a sugar beet processing factory in nearby Newark-Upon-Trent.

Another much need restful day today, recovering from overdoing it for a couple of days earlier in the week, on a worthy but controversial cause; did so knowingly.

Particularly enjoyable school mates zoom last night. Conversation always ranges from intellectual and political debate to just talking b******s, but always have a chuckle. Last night in part we debated some covid graphs that one mate compiles for his own  analysis.

Purely by chance another raised a sensationalist and misleading Guardian article - shock, horror!, Now removed from their website, our media bias specialist had kept the url to the original article - see https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/nov/18/we-cant-afford-to-wait-for-the-perfect-covid-vaccine?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other&utm_source=POLITICO.EU&utm_campaign=e74b8225c9-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_11_19_07_21&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_10959edeb5-e74b8225c9-190561567

It just so happened that my son was teaching me on yesterday evenings dog walk a thing or two about media bias on teenage viewed content, so I shared with him as a Guardian reading parent, as is mum. Our only tory mate who wasnt on the call last night, particularly enjoyed the link this morning!
