Stretching

This is not the first time I blipped Chaiyya posing in her favourite nest. She was back in it today while I worked (it's next to my desk), and just as I wanted to take a photo of a sleeping, curled-up cat, she stretched. 

So here are her paws and claws, and her shaved belly. If you look closely, you can spot the sutures. 

Last night the cats were quiet and we all caught up on much needed sleep, while it was blowing a gale and pouring with rain outside. It kept raining all morning, and I used the day for chores - grocery shopping for my mother, cooking soup, doing laundry and bookkeeping.
